Details:

The Construction Software and Communication Tool Developer is located in Merritt Island, FL. This is a full-time, direct opportunity with benefits. This person will be responsible for various reporting and technical business development procedures supporting our construction team. The role will guide and manage the development of business intelligence dashboards, analytical reports, and data visualizations using reporting tools.

Job Duties:
1.Research and gather business requirements for new reporting requests
2.Translate business requirements into technical requirements that result in business intelligence reports and dashboards
3.Drive the proper process for QA of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and data integrity
4.Support data analysis efforts to identify trends/patterns and recommend opportunities for improvement
5.Review, analyze, prioritize, and solve end-user reporting requests
6.Develop, test, and deploy custom triggers, stored procedures, and scripts
7.Develop ad-hoc reports as needed
8.Effectively communicate changes in business applications and reporting to department
9.Document learnings and best practices in report development knowledge base
10.Experience with Construction Project Management Information Software (PMIS) systems, Visual Studio, MS SQL Server Data Tools, Tableau or MS Power BI, and relational databases
11.Write complex, optimized SQL queries across large volumes of data

Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of [2] years of experience in software development, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar.
Experience with web and mobile application development.
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred:
Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Understanding of data security and privacy regulations.
Experience with UI/UX design principles.

We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $70,000 to $85,000. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline. Benefits offered may include health care, dental, vision, life insurance; 401(k); education assistance; paid time off including PTO, holidays, and any other paid leave required by law.'
