Job Summary:

The Quality Technician inspects both simple and complex parts to ensure they meet blueprint specifications and quality standards. Responsibilities include in-process inspection on the production floor and ensuring proper documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect products for dimensional accuracy, finish, and workmanship.
  • Ensure timely product flow through inspection, meeting deadlines for customer deliveries.
  • Inspect incoming materials and review certifications. Issue DMR or NCMR as needed.
  • Perform in-process inspections on the production floor.
  • Review product certification packages and release them for shipment.
  • Maintain electronic and orderly certification files.
  • Assist lead inspector and manager with additional tasks.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2-4 years of quality inspection experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
  • Experience with measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) and reading blueprints.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and issuing DMR/NCMR.
  • Familiarity with smaller production environments and Visual Measuring Systems.
