Martin Luther School, an Approved Private School, located on a picturesque 36-acre campus in Plymouth Meeting, provides a comprehensive program for students who need emotional support. We use a holistic educational approach to address the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs of children in kindergarten through 12th grade.

The focus of the position is to provide direct instruction to students to help them learn subject matter and skills that will contribute to their social, emotional, and academic development; coordinating work within the School, as well as with other divisions/departments; complying with operating policies and procedures established for the assigned function; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required; experience working with socially and emotionally disturbed children and/or children with autism preferred, as well as students with varying degrees of ability level.

You should have a B.A. degree in related field required; active Certification in Special Education or willing to complete a Special Education certification.
