YOUR ROLE

  • Conduct QC testing of pellet samples and molten samples
  • Assist in quality investigations and perform double checks as needed
  • Conduct periodic audits of the processes
  • Comply with all safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and programs
  • Determine what chemical adjustments need be made if product is out of specification, record the adjustments to be made and provide instruction to production associates on how to proceed. 
YOUR SKILLS

  • HS diploma or GED; some college course work preferred.
  • Must be able to handle multiple projects.
  • Good observation skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prefer experience working in a lab using testing equipment and data entry but not required.
  • Proficient at basic mathematics, which includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and basic algebra.
  • Computer skills, including SAP, Microsoft Office, Outlook preferred.

The pay rate for this role is $18/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range.  This salary range may also be modified in the future.
