As a Limited License Psychologist, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. This position is in an outpatient clinical setting where you will interact directly with patients. You will quickly build rapport with patients and coordinate care with internal and external providers by forming excellent provider-patient alliances.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret resultsEstablish treatment plans goals with measurable steps for clientProvide individual, group and family therapyLead crisis intervention methods and provide insight into the development of functional assessments and behavioral intervention plansComplete clinical documentation according to policyYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed MA/MS in Psychology Master's Level Psychologist / Must have an active LLP licensure in MI Ability to provide a minimum of 15 scheduled visits per week Some evening sessions and Saturday appointments are expectedPreferred Qualifications:
Experience with children or adolescents Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families Solid computer and basic technology skills Competent with a wide range of clinical presentations Demonstrated a history of professional growth and development Demonstrated to be self-motivated and independent clinician Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients quicklyAt UnitedHealth Group, our mission is to help people live healthier lives and make the health system work better for everyone.
