Students will be matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.Projects may include the following responsibilities: Partner with leadership to identify and address areas to improveefficiency and benchmark with industry bestpractices. Become a process owner; critically review specific processes with greatattentiontodetail and proactively recommend opportunities for improvement. Learncontinuousimprovement methodologies (, PPI, Six Sigma, and others) and help promote improvement initiatives. Align with all company safety, training, and quality regulations ( ISO compliance, GLP/GMP requirements, etc.) and procedures. Execute experimental plans, analyze data, and contribute to technical reports and product summaries. Investigate new methods/technologies and maintain accurate lab notebook to support protection of intellectual property in accordance with relevant Thermo Fisher required standards. Work collaboratively with other functions including Business Development,Quality, Operations, Technical Services, and/or Marketing in the commercialization of new products. Compensation & Relocation: Our Graduate-level Research&Development co-ops offer an hourly rate between $-$ dependent upon the location you are supporting (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, arelocationstipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Student must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of co-op to be eligible for the relocationstipend. Graduate student completing a Master's degree in Engineering or Life Sciences-related field of study. 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships preferred. Consistenttrackrecord of results demonstrating integrity,innovation,involvement, and intensity. Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity. Excellent interpersonalcommunicationskills with a high degree of emotionalintelligence.
