Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Information Assurance/Systems Security Architect to assist in directing and managing the program's executive support group. The candidate must reference their ability and experience working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team. 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related hard technical

discipline
Experience: 6 years of experience directly related to information assurance / information technology

Specialized Experience: Performs duties on tasks that require expertise in firewall, cyber, cloud computing, implementation/configuration, security assessment/risk analysis of satellites, security design of local area networks and wide area networks, security analysis of network operating systems and applications, continuity of operations, planning, policy development and disaster recovery. Services performed include, but are not limited to, engineering, and implementing integrated security system solutions that will ensure proprietary/confidential data and systems are protected. Gathers and organizes technical information about commercial satellite vendors existing security products, and ongoing programs in computer security in the strategic design process to translate security and business requirements into technical designs. Duties include architecture design, system/network analysis, vulnerability and risk assessments, and security assessment of hardware and software of potential commercial satellite vendors. Acting as the primary IA technical advisor to the Government. Developing recommendations based on mission partner IA requirements. Assessing solutions against the associated Risk Management Framework (RMF) items. Advising the Government of risks associated with solutions. Preparing documentation for Authorizing Official acceptance. Communicating IA Program Status to Senior Leadership. Developing project plans and schedules outlining work activities necessary to successfully complete IA –related initiatives. Identifying new and additional IA requirements; conducting an analysis of these requirements and making recommendations that allow the Government to take proactive steps to integrate these requirements, enhancing the process, and ensuring customers are in compliance with DoD and DISA polices and directives. Ensuring IA Requirements are incorporated into business processes in accordance with RMF, Committee on National Security Systems Policy 12, National Institute of Standards and Technology 800-53, and other applicable policies. Provide Cybersecurity guidance, training, and information to vendors, Defense Strategies Institute, and other DoD and Federal Agencies.
