Job Summary:

Monroe Carell JR Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt is seeking to hire a Pediatric Hospital Labs Phlebotomist, whom will have overall responsibilities for venipuncture, validating patient orders, and specimen information in the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) with regular guidance. This position processes and collects patient specimens, responds to inquiries from clinical staff for specimen testing results, troubleshooting, and problem resolution.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Provides patient care.
*Delivery and receipt of specimens to laboratory area
*Orders and processes patient specimens
*Relays patient test results to patient care givers and other healthcare providers
