The Investment Manager Services Division (IMS) at SEI is growing rapidly and is seeking new members on our Data product team.As the Data Cloud Product Manager, you will primarily focus on the product strategy for the SEI Data Cloud and the management and distribution of our client’s data.To be successful you will be (or become) the subject matter expert for the overall cloud data stack that supports IMS services and data products. You will serve as a representative of the business and represent our customer’s perspective throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Our clients have a growing appetite for data consumption and IMS has initiated several projects to meet that demand; enhance the integration of fund and portfolio accounting systems with investor data, optimize our data pipelines and data governance, and transform our data technology to a cloud based solution.The Cloud Data Product Manager will be a critical asset to the organization and will be expected to define and lead the product strategy for the IMS Data Cloud.We are looking for an energetic person to identify new opportunities, engage with internal and external stakeholders and partner with colleagues in technology to prioritize work and guide implementation.

What you will do:

You will have product responsibility for the SEI Data Cloud and SEI Data Share platforms. You will engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and articulate acceptance criteria and prioritize the ensuing work. You will own and maintain a prioritized work backlog. You will participate in and share responsibility with high priority data organization initiatives. You are knowledgeable with cloud technology and cloud data services and aspire to continue to grow expertise and influence in the area. We want you to succeed and look for future solutions Through attending and participating in various IMS and corporate professional development sessions, you will acquire the tools to identify processes across the division and organization. What we need from you:

A minimum of 8 years of experience with a strong background in data management and knowledge of the financial accounting data domain BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or applicable experience. Your product leadership and vision to help imagine, identify, and articulate the future direction of the SEI Data Cloud. Experience with Cloud data platforms and especially Snowflake. Experience with querying and analyzing large data sets with SQL and/or other languages and tools. Competency and/or work experience with Data Modelling, Database Systems and Data Workflow Financial Services experience, preferably FinTech experience in Asset Management or Wealth Management. Experience with Agile and Iterative development methodologies. Experience with software development management/tracking tools (i.e. JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
