POSITION PURPOSE:

This position will assist with scheduling, supervisor of team members as well as with the day-to-day operations of the Cow Creek Tribal Market. This role will ensure a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to guest and team members.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Ensures that the Tribal Market area is open and accessible whenever trucks arrive or depart with food items Manages the offloading of food items from those trucks Manages the storage of food received from various sources into the on-site freezer, cooler and stockrooms. Manages the staging of food into the Tribal Market for those who stock the market shelves. Manages the appropriate rotation of food items and an inventory of food items that should be replenished Coordinates the ordering of needed food items with the Production Manager. Follows general food market practices and protocols relating to the appropriate storage of food items, product quality and usage guidelines Schedule the team to ensure consistent and adequate support for the operations. May assist with interviewing and hiring selection. Train team members in a manner that builds and sustains a high-performance team and minimized turnover. Oversee and ensure accurate and efficient input into pantry database. Ability to use all equipment in the market proficiently including pallet jacks, etc. Maintain maintenance logs on cooler, freezer, and other appliances in the pantry. Ensure that the facility is in good condition and safe for public access. Handles guest questions, complaints, and issues. Other duties as assigned.  Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in guest and/or food service preferred. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Ability to maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality. Strong time management and organizations skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups. Critical thinking and problem solving skills, Current Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe Certificate required.
