Process Control Support Specialist
Assist Lab Automation team in Windows 7 or older automation system discovery at the Midland and Auburn Client sites.  Through discovery, this specialist will need to work closely with the Lab Automation team and the IR/Lab PC team to ensure inventory is updated and accurate at all times. Assist clients and Lab Automation team with the migration of Siemens PCS7 and LabVIEW systems to Windows 10+ operating systems in Midland, Auburn and Texas.  Specialist will need to be skilled in migrating the projects to new versions of Siemens PCS7 and LabVIEW so they are compatible on a Windows 10+ operating system.  As needed, work with Siemens and LabVIEW vendors if migration efforts are not seamless and external support is required. 

Job Requirements
Detailed understanding of Siemens PCS7 and LabVIEW and how to migrate projects from older versions to newest version.  Ability to identify systems that are in need of migration.  Requires excellent interpersonal, relationship, communication, and collaboration skills and an innovative approach to problem-solving. A commitment to quality and customer service also required.  Bending, stooping, walking, and lifting in excess of 25 pounds required.  Knowledge of the site, stakeholders and landscape is preferred.  Requires at least 3+ years working in process control, direct experience with Siemens PCS7 and LabVIEW is required.
