Overview

JOB SUMMARY

Assist the manager of sterile processing in the supervision of the Sterile Processing Department staff and operations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:  An individual who has an AA or AS Degree is preferred or equivalent experience and education in SPD / Surgical Technology.

Experience:  Must have three-years’ experience in SPD and / or Surgery, with at least one-year supervisory experience in SPD / Central Supply preferred. Experience as a surgical Tech preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:  Computer competent in word and excel, experience with instrument tracking systems preferred.

License/Certifications:  Current IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certification required.

Equipment:  Familiar with operation of all sterilization, decontamination, and patient care equipment.

PAY RANGE

$31.00 - $39.72

Salary offers are determined by candidate’s relevant experience and skills. For per diem positions, a standard rate is used based on market data and not the candidate’s individual experience.
