This position supports our Four Points by Sheraton Norwood Conference Center
Responsibilities
Shifts needed: 6 AM-6 PM, 6AM-3PM, 10AM-6PM
This position is responsible for supplying and maintaining the conference guest coffee break area. Individual also obtains banquet event order (BEO) information for group break times, setting up food and beverage offerings, and breaking them down at the conclusion of the conference.
Specific duties include:
Making large amounts of coffee using commercial sized coffee makers, several times a day. Procuring break food items from bakery, to include baked goods, fresh cut fruit, yogurt, and various other breakfast items as instructed on the BEO. Inquiring with sales/F&B manager about guest break times and needs. Observing and maintaining all assigned break areas throughout conference. Cleaning and maintaining all break area equipment, including soda machines, ice machines, rotary toasters and various other “props” used for F&B displays. Stocking and restocking back of house supplies for continuous service
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED At least 1 year of hotel banquet/conference experience preferredThe hiring range for this position is $15.24-$19.04 USD. The final salary offer will vary based on geographic location, individual education, skills, and experience. The position is eligible to participate in FM Global’s comprehensive Total Rewards program that includes an incentive plan, career development opportunities, free meals and Sheraton/Marriott employee discount at participating hotels.
