Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician/Assistant to join our team. As a Veterinary Technician/Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients.

Duties:

- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and other medical procedures

- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian

- Perform laboratory tests such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal examinations

- Prepare animals for surgery, including pre-operative care and post-operative monitoring

- Monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures

- Handle and restrain animals during examinations and procedures

- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients

- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments

- Assist with the care of hospitalized animals

-Assist with inventory procedures, including unpacking and stocking hospital supplies

Requirements:

- Minimum of 1 year experience as veterinary technician, assistant, or similar role

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
