Step Up Rehab is now seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Step Up and join our fantastic team. We offer an array of services to our facilities and patients. Our patients receive rehabilitative therapies including physical, occupational and speech therapy. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) Qualifications:

 

  • Successful completion of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program
  • Valid licensure (or eligibility for licensure) to practice as a occupational therapy assistant in the state of Florida
  • Prior experience in skilled nursing settings is preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with medical staff Commitment to maintaining patient and employee confidentiality
  • Familiarity with Medicare and third-party reimbursement processes is desirable
