The Registered Nurse is an exemplar for compassion, acceptance, respect, and empathy honoring nursing as a distinct discipline and supporting an environment focused on healing and wellness. As a clinical nurse, this individual spends majority of his/her time (> 50%) coordinating, ensuring, and providing direct patient care activities on the unit through: provision of nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments; facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge activities; provisionof patient and family-centered education; care coordination and individualized treatment planning as applicable, etc.Minimum Education, Experience, Training and Licensures Required:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited college/university or an associate degree with a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience required. Basic Life Support ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in nursing from accredited college/university. Previous experience on Labor/Delivery unit, ICU, Med-Surge.Benefits:
