Wolfspeed is seeking a Facilities Commodity Specialist to join Wolfspeed’s Indirect Procurement team. The Facilities Commodity Specialist will be responsible for supporting indirect procurement activities for the Facilities department and other departments needed. The individual in this position is responsible for the execution and delivery of optimal value when meeting business requirements in addition to managing supplier relationships and performance. This position will be required to be on site in Siler City three days a week. This is an individual contributor role.

Interact with internal customers to identify and implement cost reduction opportunitiesSupport the Facilities Commodity Manager on the procurement processes for the Facilities departmentAssist in implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure quality of serviceBuild relationships with suppliers to position Wolfspeed as a preferred customerAssist in implementing effective sourcing strategies to ensure quality of service by issuing RFPsManage supplier quality, cost, and deliveryEffectively identify and manage cost savings opportunitiesBS in Business or Supply Chain related field, or equivalent work experience3+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement and contract reviewProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated experience working in a self-directed environment and managing relationshipsEnergetic individual who can service a dynamic and exciting manufacturing and product lineExcellent analytical and negotiation skillsResponsive and good written and verbal communication skillsInquisitive nature, driving for improvementSelf-motivator with a desire to take ownership and manage a piece of the businessHighly organized and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
