Inspection

  • Perform mechanical, visual and operational inspection using large variety of inspection gauging and equipment.
  • Demonstrate capability to comprehend part drawings and specifications.
  • Validate working inspection gauges and instruments using established procedures.
  • Witness and perform functional tests as required.

  • Maintain quality related records.

Additional

  • Work with design and project engineering on quality related projects and programs as required.
  • Assist customer quality representatives in performance of inspection and quality checks as required.
  • Perform non-destructive examinations as required (magnaflux, fluorescent dye penetrant, material hardness, etc.)

High School Diploma or equivalent

  • High school education or equivalent with strong mathematical aptitude.  Must be able to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.  Must have High school education or equivalent with strong mathematical aptitude.  Must be able to interpret Engineering drawings and specifications.  Must have thorough knowledge of quality and general procedures.  Able to use and maintain all types of Inspection instruments, gauges, and equipment. 

Education

3+ years experience in all phases of inspection including process control, dimensional, final, receiving and shipping.

Limited discretion, able to make decisions or suggestions based on rules or procedures

Multiple choice situations in which prior experience with similar problems has shown which choice is most appropriate, selecting from known alternatives
