Description

TEI Construction Services, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and organized Fleet Administrator to join our team. As a Fleet Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing our company's fleet of vehicles, equipment, and inventory. You will be responsible for CAPEX responsibilities, coordinating maintenance, tracking vehicle usage, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Essential Responsibilities:

Responsibilities

CAPEX ownership; Sourcing of company requirements and the ability to evaluate the value of those assets for presentation to management seeking approval. Purchasing ability to secure and purchase these assets Maintain records and locations of all assets during their lifecycle. Understand and possess the knowledge of all things related to company vehicles and equipment. Coordinate vehicle maintenance and repairs, including scheduling service appointments and obtaining necessary permits and inspections Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repair history Track and analyze vehicle usage data to identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings Manage vehicle inventory, including assigning vehicles to employees, tracking availability, and coordinating vehicle replacements Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including conducting regular safety inspections and training sessions for drivers, including proficiency in DOT regulations for company vehicle usage. Work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and terms for vehicle parts and services Assist with the development and implementation of fleet policies, procedures, and guidelines Provide timely and accurate reports on fleet performance, maintenance costs, and other key metrics Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Requirements

Two year degree; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus Proven experience in fleet management or a related field Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent attention to detail Thorough understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes Knowledge of applicable safety and regulatory requirements Proficient in using fleet management software or similar tools Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Valid driver's license
