As a Fulfillment Pharmacist you will perform various duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders. You will have a direct impact on the lives of our members regarding medications and overall wellness. What makes your pharmacy career greater with OptumRx?  ***Per Diem role to cover Paid Time Off and Leave of Absence requests. Ideal candidate will be able to work up to 40 hours/week, when needed, with potential to go full time in the future. Work Schedule: 8-hour shift between 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM Monday through Friday with occasional Saturday’s. ***

Primary Responsibilities:

Verify prescriptions and prescription data entered into the pharmacy computer system for accuracyOversees the activities of pharmacy technicians and inventory personnelOrganizes workload, sets priorities, completes assignments in a timely manner and utilizes resources appropriately while complying with department program standardsWork in the fulfillment area to provide the final quality check prior to medication being packed and shippedPerforms all duties and functions in compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulationsConforms with and supports department quality assurance and improvement guidelinesLift totes 5 -10 lbsBasic understanding of robotic automationPosition is primarily working in a standing / walking environment

Required Qualifications:

BS in Pharmacy or Pharm D degreePharmacist license in good standing in the State of WashingtonWilling and able to obtain additional state licensure, if necessary5+ years of experience working as a licensed Pharmacist in retail pharmacy or managed care settingAbility to navigate MS Office and a Windows based environment and the ability to create, edit, save, and send documents utilizing Microsoft WordAbility to navigate Outlook and conduct Internet searchesAbility to work the designated shift and flexible hours 

Washington Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $42.31 to $83.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
