Job Description:
Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School RN (Registered Nurse) to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year in the Libertyville, IL area. This is a full-time, on-site position working with elementary-aged students, providing essential health services and support.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to elementary-aged students, including administering medications and treatments.
- Conduct health assessments and develop individualized health care plans for students with specific health needs.
- Monitor and manage chronic health conditions and emergency situations.
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
- Educate students, staff, and parents on health-related topics and promote healthy practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Illinois.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric nursing is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job Details:
