Personnel Resources has a client with an immediate opening as a Scrub Technician in Dothan, AL.
Pay will start at $13.00 per hour and will be working Monday - Friday between the hours of 6am and 5pm depending on surgery schedule . Scrubs will be provided
Duties:
  • Prepare and transport patients for surgical procedures
  • Provide assistance to surgeons and OR nurses by passing tools, dressing incisions and other functions as required
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures and recovery
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
  • Provide basic life support when necessary
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care
  • Sterilize equipment, operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment is in place for scheduled procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years experience in patient care within a hospital, intensive care unit or surgery center is required
  • Prior scrub tech experience is preferred but not required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
