Collins Aerospace has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Specialist, Contracts support the Interiors Cabin Monuments and Integration Portfolio. The successful applicant works proactively and with urgency to contribute to team objectives and close open actions. The Contracts Specialist will be open to feedback with a growth-oriented mindset. This position requires extensive collaboration with proposal and program teams and business leadership.

What You Will Do:

Advise and support internal team on proposal and contractual negotiations Lead contractual negotiations with customers Complete executive summaries and obtain approvals from subject matter experts and internal approvers Develop, evaluate, analyze, and interpret contracts to ensure alignment with internal processes, approved parameters, business and legal requirements, and contractual obligations Manage and communicate business and contractual risk to the business stakeholders throughout the entire contract life cycle Maintain historical contractual records and document all approvals Adhere to and comply with standard work processes Travel up to the 10% of time

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
