Position Summary:
Under general direction, the Cybersecurity Engineer develops and manages various systems across the enterprise to maintain a high security posture. Areas of concentration include vulnerability management, account management, password auditing, Endpoint protection, intrusion detection, and mitigating cybersecurity attacks. Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures (e.g., User logon and authentication rules, security breach escalation procedures, security auditing procedures and use of firewalls and encryption routines). Identify inadequacies and propose solutions for security posture.

Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in IT or applicable experience required in lieu of education.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
None specified

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) years IT experience; one (1) being in Windows or other OS security baselines, standards, and procedures and configuration management processes.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Working knowledge of IT security concepts.

Essential Functions:

Nice to have Security+ (by Comp TIA) Evaluates, recommends, manages & installs IT system security applications. Works with Corporate Compliance to develop and audit IT security policies and procedures. Participates in the implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity procedures. Provides support to technical personnel in other teams in the proactive and continuous implementation of security baselines, configuration and service management processes. Works closely with other departments within IT to ensure that all set configurations and security baselines have been met. Provides incident response to security threats. Assists Sr Cybersecurity Engineers in major projects and overall security posture improvement efforts
