Position Description

Rider University is seeking to fill the position of Graduate Program Director and Lecturer for their online master’s degree and inclusive cyber bridge programs in cybersecurity. This position is in-person, and some teaching in the undergraduate cybersecurity B.S. program may be required. 

Duties 
● Teachfully online cybersecurity graduate courses; teaching load for a Lecturer is four courses per semester with one course release for directing the graduate program
● Oversee graduate student capstone experiences, internships or directed research 
● Hire and supervise adjunct faculty members in the program 
● Collaborate with the chair in the Department of Computer Science & Physics and College of Arts & Sciences dean’s office to schedule annual course offerings and faculty workload
● Advise current and prospective graduate students, especially with course selection and degree planning
● Collaborate with the graduate admissions office to recruit prospective students
● Collaborate with the marketing department to keep online and printed program information fresh and up-to-date Position Requirements Ph.D. degree in cybersecurity or related computing field required 2 years of demonstrated (academic) leadership experience required. 3-5 years of demonstrated collegiate teaching experience required along with a demonstration of prior online teaching experience Experience using the Canvas LMS in an academic setting is highly desirable Demonstrated excellent communication skills Position Preferred Qualifications/Experience About Rider University Location Lawrenceville, NJ Do the essential functions of this job require lifting?
