Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), this role coordinates and manages the daily activities of ICR clinical trials. The position is vital to study conduct and oversight, managing research from start to finish and organizing all relevant documentation. The coordinator also liaises with investigators and study participants to ensure smooth operation.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Master’s preferred.
  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Must be detail-oriented, a team player, and adept with computers. Ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare teams, and doctors.
  • Experience: 6-10 years in clinical research coordination.
  • Certifications: GCP certification required; CCRP or CCRA preferred.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the protection of human subjects in clinical research.
  • Evaluate new protocols for feasibility with the PI.
  • Prepare the site for study conduct, including documentation and training.
  • Manage the informed consent process.
  • Oversee study conduct, including recruitment, scheduling, and compliance.
