We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager with billing office management expertise to join our team. This role entails fostering a positive work environment, ensuring organizational effectiveness, and overseeing billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and collections activities. Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct new employee orientation, review policies, and ensure compliance with procedures and the employee handbook.
  • Implement HR activities within the facility and develop strong working relationships with other departments.
  • Assist employees with FMLA paperwork and leave of absence documentation.
  • Facilitate employee enrollment in benefit programs.
  • Manage accounts payable, billing, accounts receivable, and collections activities.
  • Supervise billing and collections personnel and ensure integrity and confidentiality of financial data.
  • Interact with payors to understand billing requirements and ensure timely payment of claims.
  • Oversee census activities and produce reports for analysis purposes.
  • Manage month-end close activities related to billing and invoicing.
  • Ensure compliance with billing policies and procedures.
  • Monitor ongoing projects related to financial operations.
  • Maintain the timekeeping system, handle missed punches, and manage payroll communication.
  • Ensure confidentiality of all data and compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.

Qualifications/Required Skills/Abilities:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Three to five years of experience in third-party billing and reimbursement, preferably including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
  • Experience in Long Term Care is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook, is preferred.
