Concrete Placing Company (CPC) seeks a Project Engineer to assist with our I-84 Jerome to Twin Falls project. This project is a $93 million widening of the interstate scheduled for completion in . Duties of the Project Engineer include:

Understand and implement compliance with Project’s contract, budget, and schedule, Assist with the development of the work activities, Actively supervise and manage the Project’s traffic control, Interact with subcontractors and suppliers to facilitate timely arrival of crews and supplies, Communicate with Owners, Inspectors, and other contractors, Work with craft workers to interpret contract drawings and specifications, and Collect and report project information including quantities completed, and labor and equipment production.

Education and Experience

2 years construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience, 2 years experience managing and maintaining traffic control, ATSSA or Evergreen Safety Council certification, Proficiency with all MS Office products, Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawing and specifications, and building materials, Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others.
