FT 8am-4pm M-F

PT 4pm-8pm + weekend rotation

We are seeking a dedicated Activity Aid to bring the daily living experience to new levels for our residents/patients. One of the most important parts of their day is interacting with others through daily happenings with staff and other residents. It is a time to visit with others and enjoy something different in their day. Our activities staff is the key to making all that possible.

Activities Aides must have the following:

1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)

The Activities Aide will:

Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs, interest, and abilities as identified in assessment / care plansComplete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policyAssist in creating the activity calendarFollow and maintain established policies and proceduresEncourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings
