Irrigation Technician

Landscape East & West is a full service, award winning, eco-friendly, customer focused landscape contractor. We are looking to add a key member to our irrigation service team based out of our Clackamas location. The successful candidate will be servicing irrigation and lighting systems for residential customers throughout the Portland Metro area.

Job duties include but not limited to:

Start-ups, winterizations, backflow testing, and general irrigation repair work for residential properties. Installation of new irrigation systems and Backflow Preventers. Installation and repair of drainage systems and other water control systems.

Requirements:

At least 3 years experience with irrigation systems (experience with residential systems is preferred). Certification or a degree in a related field can be a substitution for work experience. Backflow certificate for Oregon or ability to acquire one (HS diploma or GED required). Strong communication skills Tech Savvy and willing to learn new systems when needed Possess a valid and insurable driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift 50 lbs. Able to walk through maintenance accounts, through all types of terrain. Ability to bend, stoop, kneel & dig Able to drive company assigned vehicle and trailer.

This is a full-time position. Work schedule is generally 7:00am – 5:30pm Tuesday – Friday.

Salary: $26.00 – $28.00 per hour
