WorkSource is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform duties that include installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This position is at a Berryville, AR, production facility.Compensation and Benefits include:Starting pay is $18/hourInsurance options including medical, dental and visionWeekly paycheckContract-to-hire positionWorkSource is an employee-owned companyDuties include:Perform highly diversified duties to maintain production machines and the plant facilities and equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform simple fabrication duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and servicePerform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functionsUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing dutiesDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasResponsible for facility and grounds upkeep and maintenancePerform other duties as requiredRequired Skills:Ability to follow instructions from supervisorsKnowledge of general carpentry and repairAbility to use hand tools and power toolsResults drivenExcellent organizational and time management skillsEthical conductEducation and ExperienceHigh school diploma/GED and/or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience4+ years of manufacturing experience, t-shirt production preferredPhysical RequirementsProlonged periods of standing and walkingMust be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spacesMust be able to lift 50 pounds at a timePlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
