PRACTICE SUMMARY

Specialists in Medical Imaging (SMI) is seeking an Onsite full-time day Musculoskeletal Radiologist .   Musculoskeletal fellowship training preferred. Qualified candidates should be comfortable with all MSK and general diagnostic studies (MSK 40-50%). Ability to grow practice if candidate has expertise in joint injections and MSK ultrasounds or procedures.   Body MRI or neuroimaging is a plus.  

POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Competitive salary with Bonus
  • 1-year partnership track position
  • Work Schedule: Day, Monday – Friday, hours typically between 7:30am-5pm
  • Evening/Night coverage provided by separate dedicated night shift team
  • Equitable sharing of backup 1:6 weekend and evening/night call responsibilities
  • Internal moonlighting opportunities available if desired

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy, Board-certified and residency trained in the practice of Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board certified/eligible by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or Board certified in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Musculoskeletal Fellowship trained PREFERRED, but not required
  • Comfortable with all MSK and general diagnostic studies (MSK 40-50%)
  • Grow practice with joint injections, MSK Ultrasound and other procedures
  • Body MRI and Neuroimaging a plus
  • Ability to secure an Illinois license
