Position: Laboratory
Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift Schedule:
10:00 pm - 7:00 am, Tuesday - Saturday

Position Summary:
The Clinical Lab Scientist will perform a wide variety of laboratory tests using manual methods and various automated, mechanical, or electronic devices. This role includes duties from specimen procurement through data analysis and reporting, providing essential data for the detection, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases across all lab areas. The scientist is accountable for delivering accurate results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform laboratory tests with accuracy and precision.
• Manage the full range of lab duties, from specimen collection to data analysis and reporting.
• Ensure the reliability of test results for disease detection, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Maintain effective working relationships across the health system.
• Adapt to a work pace appropriate to the workload.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CA CLS License.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Demonstrated customer service skills relevant to the job.
• Willingness to testify in court regarding testing activities if subpoenaed.
• Flexibility to work variable shifts and overtime as required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Familiarity with university and medical center organizations, policies, procedures, and forms.
• Microbiology expertise with a 3-4 rating.
• RPR expertise with a 3-4 rating.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Clinical Laboratory Scientist (Required)

Additional Information:

• Will accept 1st time traveler.
• RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed once sent for review.
• No more than 7 days of RTO in a 13-week contract is highly preferred.
• No RTO during the first 2 weeks of the assignment.

Vaccination Requirements:

• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current Booster.
• Flu Vaccine: Unknown.
