Looking for a Recruiter who will source, screen and interview candidates to fill organizational roles at Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe. 

Undefeated Tribe is an official franchise of Crunch Fitness based in Austin, TX. The Undefeated Tribe is expanding the Crunch Fitness brand across Texas and Oklahoma over the next two years and will be inviting over 500 individuals to join their team to help their community experience fitness, wellness, relaxation, and recovery.

Position Overview 

  • Sources, recruits, screens, and interviews candidates to fill organizational roles. 
  • Consults with hiring managers to understand roles to be filled and profiles of ideal candidates. 
  • Reviews and assesses applicants education, experience, training, and other qualifications. 
  • Verifies employment eligibility, gathers necessary paperwork, and performs reference and background checks. 
  • Schedules interviews and coordinates interviewers or panels. 
  • Tests and scores applicants and gathers feedback from other interviewers. 
  • Informs candidates of job duties, responsibilities, work schedules, compensation and benefits packages, and career advancement opportunities. 
  • Prepares and extends job offers. 
  • Notifies applicants of rejection. 
  • Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to hiring managers. 
  • Some travel may be required to attend career fairs and to speak with club level hiring managers.

Responsibilities 

  • Sourcing: Locate qualified, potential applicants using databases, online job posting boards, professional networks and through referrals. Organize hiring events and participate in job fairs to network with potential candidates. Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleges and local organizations to participate in job fairs or networking events.
  • Screening: Communicate with and interview candidates at various stages of the hiring process (phone screening calls, video interviews and in-person meetings). Apply principles of behavioral interviewing to access the qualifications of candidates. Investigate referrals, references, and social media sources to formulate a well-rounded view of applicants.
  • Job Posting: Create job announcements that list requirements for each job, such as desired work experience, education, and job skills. Oversee internal and external communication, making sure that the company maintains a positive reputation as an employer (for example on Glassdoor, LinkedIn and social media).
  • Candidate Experience: Foster a positive application experience aligned with the Company’s values and culture. Manage all communication with candidates from the moment they apply until they get onboard. Prepare attracting hiring packages and communicate with selected applicants to offer employment.
  • Growth Management: Work with the VP of People to set hiring goals (e.g. quarterly and annual). Track recruitment KPIs, like time to hire, source of hire and time to fill. Investigate and utilize skill assessment tools and tests to screen candidates.
  • Coaching: Work closely with hiring managers in various departments to define recruitment needs and plan the hiring process. Ensure hiring managers are fully supported to hire the best individuals for their team. Coach hiring managers on best practices, assist with recruitment, and utilizing ATS for best results.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years proven experience as an In-house Recruiter or similar role at the corporate level.
  • Demonstrated experience with full cycle recruitment
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and interviewing skills
  • Familiarity with various interview techniques (like video or panel interviews)
  • Proficiency in ATS systems and analytics tools.
  • Experience with social media recruiting
  • Experience with engaging and working with hiring managers at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws.
  • Located in Austin, TX, is preferred; however, remote work is acceptable.

Physical Requirements 

  • Requires extended use of computer and peripheral equipment.
  • Prolonged stints of sitting working in an office/home office environment. 

Education Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred  

Compensation (Salary)

$90,000 + Bonus
