Dining Room Server- Haven

Position Summary:
The server position offers a flexible and unique opportunity to hone your food, wine and spirits knowledge in a high volume environment unlike any other. This is a great position to further your experience in the hospitality industry and work for a successful company that rewards hard work and dedication
Essential Duties:
● Running food, placing food in front of guests.
● Clearing tables, stocking and contributing to the overall success of the team through service support.
● Resetting tables (placing runners, napkins and silverware on tables)
● Passion and willingness to serve and provide every guest with a memorable and long-lasting experience.
● Adhere to the policies of Bern's Steak House and uphold them as a role model to your teammates.
● Ability to work independently while still contributing to the overall goals of the team.
● Maintain a favorable working relationship with other team members to foster a harmonious and cooperative
work environment.
● Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of station throughout the entire shift.
● Maintain safety standards at all times.
Qualifications and Skills
● Ability to work calmly and efficiently in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
● Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
● Must maintain a professional demeanor and well-groomed appearance at all times.
● Must be available late nights, weekends, and holidays.
● Must be able to work with your hands, stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time
● Ability to perform the following: carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50v pounds, moving about the
restaurant, handling food, plates, trays, glasses etc, bending, stooping and kneeling
● Able to work within a team environment to coordinate a one of a kind dining experience with upbeat,
outgoing and positive energy.
● Accountability, professionalism and a high level of conscientiousness regarding the guest experience.
● Florida SafeStaff Certification (classes provided within the company if you are not certified)
● TIPS Certification (classes provided within the company if you are not certified)
