Fire Alarm Service/Technician

An established and innovative company is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to join their team. This is an opportunity for a Fire Alarm Technician to become integral to a team who values integrity and rewards dedication and innovation.

Fire Alarm Technician Duties:
  • Minimum 3-5 years experience
  • Perform installations, programming, troubleshooting,testing and repairs on fire alarms systems.
  • Install wire, conduit, and devices per documents, drawings, and company standards.
  • Support on call service requirements.
  • Provide training and support to customers on operations of systems.
  • Remain current on all training, certifications, licensing, and safety requirements.
Fire Alarm Service/Technician Qualifications:
  • Knowledge in fire and safety systems
  • Experience in Mechanics and Electronics field required
  • Prior experience in commissioning, service, and or maintenance required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Mechanical and Electrical aptitude
  • MS Office Applications
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
  • Effective communication skills
  • Motivated self-starter
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Understanding of building codes
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
