Essential Functions :

Provide compliance support- oversee implementing training online courses, compliance hotline administration Coordinating timely receipt of project deliverables from key stakeholders Assist with independent contractor agreements and setting up with Finance Provide litigation support- discovery coordination with outside counsel Assist with insurance claims support- coordinate with broker/claims reps for discovery/information needed Facilitating the review of invoices for accuracy and payment approval Immigration filings with outside immigration counsel Maintain corporate entity records and minute books- maintaining corporate minutes, resolutions, etc… Assist with the preparation of all Board materials, utilizing the Boardvantage system Legal invoice records and payments- Assist in organizing, recording, and facilitating payment of legal invoices Real estate support- lease administration, renewals, etc… Responsible for corporate contracts- assist in management of contracts, oversee project for establishing a centralized contract database. Assist in review/approvals of customer terms and conditions in customer onboarding/credit approval process. Manage nondisclosure/confidentiality agreements Coordinate due diligence projects Oversee annual state filings and registrations Coordinate safety and environmental compliance

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Ability to exercise discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage workload to meet due dates and deadlines Collaborative, team-player, and mindset for continuous process improvement Ability to master routine tasks and to follow instructions Excellent written and verbal communication skills including proficient grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills to communicate effectively with a variety of individuals and stakeholders Ability to organize documents and information, learn filing systems, use prioritization skills, and concentrate on detailed information in a fast-paced work environment Strong professional work ethic and ability to handle corporate matters in a confidential manner Familiarity with Legal Case Management Software

Education and Experience:

Undergraduate degree and/or paralegal certification required 3+ years of corporate and transactional paralegal experience including inhouse legal department Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe

Required to Travel: Possible offsite meetings required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

The job takes place in a normal office setting with no known hazardous environmental or physical working conditions.

The job entails negligible requirements for lifting, bending, and standing. However, employees must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Normal office interactions require the incumbent to possess the mobility to meet with others in the office.Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.

Job is largely (75% plus) sedentary, requiring prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, utilizing a telephone, and the ability to communicate both verbally and in written format.

Normal dexterity, strength, coordination, vision (including the ability to read a computer screen), and hearing are inherent in office work and are a requirement of this job.
