Dental Biller

Dental Biller Job Responsibilities:

Accurately enter patient demographics and insurance information into dental software

Submit insurance claims for reimbursement 

Follow up with insurance companies regarding claim status

Manage patient accounts receivable

Prepare and send statements to patients

Collect payments from patients 

Resolve billing disputes with patients and insurance companies

 Objectives:

To develop and maintain efficient billing practices for the dental office.

To ensure that all patients are billed correctly and promptly.

Work closely with the dental office staff to ensure all insurance claims are filed correctly and promptly.

To keep abreast of new developments in dental billing and coding and to implement these changes as necessary.

Dental Biller Job Skills & Qualifications Needed:

Strong communication and customer service skills

Attention to detail

Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience with dental billing software and systems (preferred not required)

Knowledge of dental coding and insurance reimbursement procedures (preferred not required)
