Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
  • Midrise, multi-family, Commercial experience
  • Installation of in-ground conduits
  • Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
  • Installations of wiring including, but not limited to, NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
  • Installation of low-voltage systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
  • Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
  • Schedule electrical inspections and perform job walks with the electrical inspectors
  • Maintain electrical as-built throughout the project
  • Attend job site meetings and provide useful input for the General Contractors in regard to electrical installations
  • Provide daily reports of the job site to the Project Manager
  • Adhere to the General Contractors’ schedule and manage manpower at an optimum level
  • Operate a variety of equipment such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
  • Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments
  • Install or repair electrical connections to HVAC components

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ previous foreman experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in electrical system installation and large commercial projects
  • State Journeyman's License
