Position pays $17.50/hr plus tips

The Counter Server is responsible for providing excellent service to Play On Guests while operating the Point-of-Sale system, preparing and serving food & Drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of e store and property. Instructs guests on use of slot machines, assists with any issues, and performs ticket redemptions.

Skills and experience you will bring to us:

The Counter Server will ensure a pleasant experience for all guests by promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere . If guests approaches the bar or is seated at the bar, a menu is provided and questions are answered properly regarding our menu options. A drink napkin is placed after greeting the guest, and drinks served accordingly following our Alcohol safe policy. This includes verifying the guests is at least 21 years of age. Operates Point-of-Sale system, accepts payments from guests, and issues correct change, also tendering loyalty payments accurately and verifying the guests before comps are redeemed. Maintains knowledge of slot machine games and accurately instructs guests on their operation, and on any available gaming incentives or promotions. Works collaboratively with Turning Stone staff to include gaming, technical, TS Rewards, and Cage staff to ensure accurate and efficient gaming operations within the store.

Your knowledge that matters most for this role:

High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma preferred. Must be able to communicate in a friendly and positive manner with guests, suppliers and co-workers. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays is required. Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and to count money is required
