As a Senior Director, you will lead a high-performing team dedicated to building, managing, and optimizing our cloud network architecture, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable operations.

The Opportunity…

This is a unique opportunity to lead the cloud networking function in a rapidly evolving technology landscape. As a Senior Director, you will have a direct impact on the Ford’s cloud strategy and operations, working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. You will be at the helm of designing and implementing the next generation of cloud network infrastructure, utilizing the full suite of GCP networking features to drive performance, reliability, and security.

The Team…

You will lead a talented team of network subject matter experts, engineers, and operations specialists who are passionate about cloud technology. Your team will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the Ford’s GCP network infrastructure, ensuring it meets the highest standards of performance and security. Collaboration is key, as your team will work closely with other departments, including DevOps, Security, and Application Development, to deliver comprehensive cloud solutions.


Even better, you may have... 

Leadership Experience:  Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role within network architecture, engineering, or operations, with a focus on cloud networking. GCP Expertise:  At least 5 years of hands-on experience with GCP networking, with a proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale cloud network solutions. Technical Leadership:  Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in the design, deployment, and management of cloud network infrastructures. Architectural Excellence:  Proven success in architecting and scaling network solutions that deliver high performance, reliability, and security in a cloud environment. Operational Mastery:  Extensive experience in network operations, including monitoring, automation, incident management, and continuous improvement. Certifications:  GCP certifications, particularly in networking or cloud architecture, are highly desirable.
