Description

Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Asset Management, Computer Science, or a STEM related field, or in lieu of specified degree any combination of education and experience that equals four (4) years in asset management or systems analysis. In addition to #1, have three (3) years of experience working with EAM systems. Knowledge of one or more functional areas of business and their processes and the operational characteristics of information systems. Knowledge of software and asset life cycle methodologies as well as phases of business analysis, conceptual and technical system design and development, unit or system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), implementation, delivery, and support. Knowledge of organizational change management processes and work products such as business process flows and work procedures within an IT system implementation environment or context. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word and Excel); and IBM Maximo, ServiceMax, or similar EAM programs. Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to interact with end-user groups at all levels within the agency. Good analytical and organizational skills with the ability to develop complex solutions. Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a team. Ability to comprehend and interpret rules and regulations governing asset management requirements. Ability to separate business requirements from technical implementation processes and state each effectively. Ability to translate complex technical data into usable information for system users, asset owners, and decision makers. Ability to explain, demonstrate, and clarify policies, procedures and standards clearly and concisely. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be able to operate a vehicle. Must be willing to travel within Metra’s 6-county region. Must be willing to travel outside of Metra’s 6-county region. Must be available to work flexible hours in the early morning, late afternoon, evenings, or weekends.

Preferred:

Experience working with IBM Maximo or ServiceMax Experience working in a transportation, mechanical, or engineering industry
