Description
We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to continue the growth of our Respiratory Care team at Emory Decatur Hospital. As part of our team you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients in acute, chronic, and emergency situations. You will perform routine ventilator and artificial airway treatments in critical and general care areas. You will assists physicians and perform routine and respiratory care activities as necessary.
In addition to hands on patient care, Respiratory Therapists are required to accurately and completely document respiratory care by following the established charting procedure. You will select, assemble and check respiratory care equipment for proper operation and cleanliness. You will work with management to formulate plans for professional development.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (Medium): 20-50 lbs; 0-33% of the work day (occasionally); 11-25 lbs, 34-66% of the workday (frequently); 01-10 lbs, 67-100% of the workday (constantly); Lifting 50 lbs max; Carrying of objects up to 25 lbs; Occasional to frequent standing & walking, Occasional sitting, Close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
