This role performs inventory planning, purchasing, management and reconciliation to maintain continuity of supplies. Identify trends and problems by conducting root cause analysis then recommend and assist in the implementation of cost reductions and process improvements.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Consistently performs monthly inventory management target. Performs inventory planning, purchasing, management and reconciliation to maintain continuity of supply. Create and distribute Purchase Orders (PO’s) to vendors. Requisition and order materials and products, and assist with pricing, invoicing, tracking and processing of orders to support production. Identify and solve problems by conducting root cause analysis. Identify, recommend and assist in the implementation of cost reduction opportunities and process improvements. Perform forecast analysis to strategically plan inventory. Conduct physical inventory annually. Adhere to the Office 6S principles. Participate in cross-functional efforts. Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Who we are looking for

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing or Finance or related field required. One to three years of purchasing and planning experience in a lean manufacturing environment required. APICS Certification a plus Basic knowledge and understanding of engineering drawings of component parts required. Must be familiar with engineering change processes, bill of materials, company parts and products. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suites (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) required.
