Electrical Project Engineer/Senior Electrical Designer

Job Overview: Raizan Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Engineer or Senior Electrical Designer to join our client's team.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside talented engineers, designers, and support staff, contributing to diverse and impactful projects.
The role requires a candidate with strong technical expertise, project management skills, and proficiency in electrical system design.
Must-Haves:
- Experience: 6+ years of electrical project experience (or 10+ years for non-degreed candidates).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or significant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Technical Expertise: Strong background in designing electrical systems (lighting, power systems, emergency power) and conducting studies (arc flash, short-circuit).
- Software Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and electrical analysis tools like SKM or EasyPower.
- Certifications: E.I.T.
or P.E.
registration (preferred but not required).
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and implement electrical systems, including lighting, power, standby/emergency power, and one-line/riser diagrams.
- Perform arc flash analysis, short-circuit studies, and utility coordination.
- Conduct field investigations and provide construction administration support.
- Lead the selection and specification of electrical equipment and ensure comprehensive system design.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading and mentoring less experienced engineers and designers.
- Active participation in professional organizations for technical development.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and adapting to fast-paced environments.
- Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
