We are seeking Leverman for our hydraulic dredge and support boats near Arkansas and Oklahoma. The Leverman operates the cutterhead swing and spud controls located in the Lever room of our dredges. The leverman is responsible for the vessel’s operation in the absence of the Dredge Captain and Chief Engineer.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: 

Manipulates various controls, levers, switches and buttons to activate the cutterhead, spuds and various winches to remove sand, clay, rock and other materials from beneath a body of water.Follow charts and dredging layout plans.Monitors and access computers and GPS instruments while overseeing the entire dredging process. Reports progress to Dredge Captain and occasionally Engineers to discuss the job in progress. Documents the day’s activities in the daily log book May be assigned other duties.
