Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The Junior Accountant will support the accounting department by assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable: Process vendor invoices, perform 2-way and 3-way matching, code invoices, and prepare checks for payment.
• Accounts Receivable: Generate customer invoices, apply payments, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Bank Reconciliations: Reconcile bank statements monthly to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
• General Ledger: Assist in maintaining the general ledger by posting journal entries and ensuring accurate financial records.
• Expense Reporting: Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
• Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and maintain organized records.
• Support Month-End Close: Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Communication: Liaise with vendors and customers to resolve billing and payment issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience or relevant internship experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
