Resiliency & Reliability Engineering team is excited to expand our Cloud Engineering team as we are growing in the solution offerings, tooling and services to support enterprise SI teams in their Resiliency Journey. Building Resiliency in the shift left culture is very complex, and we take it very seriously to enable SI teams with the right toolsets and standard methodologies. Our growing Resiliency enablement toolkit includes Pulse (Enterprise Synthetic Monitoring tool), Health Enterprise Health App), Policy Engine Integration for Standards) and more. As a Cloud Engineer, you will work on a cross-functional scrum team, collaborating directly with product owners, developers, scrum leads and architects to test, build and iterate during the Product development life cycle.

In this role, you will:

Drive bodies of work related to engineering a platform that is resilient, highly available, secure, and cost-effective.

Work alongside a collaborative team of engineers and architects on troubleshooting and enabling new tools and features for our Product Families.

Pair with the other cross divisional platform/ tool teams to deliver a cohesive Solutions. Support IT teams across the org as they onboard and use their feedback to improve the experience.

Partner with a variety of different IT and security groups to tackle problems related to observability, availability, and resiliency on a cloud-native platform.

Design, implement, and deploy cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions.

Provide sophisticated level technical support and ensure reliable operation of cloud production. Troubleshoot software systems on multiple cloud computing platforms and system integration into existing cloud computing platforms. Maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms.

Develop technical standards. May support to Testing and evaluating IT vendor products. Review configuration parameters to optimize system performance and improve operation uptime.

Elevate code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule. Provide follow-up production support. Submit change control requests and documents.

Learn and understand client area business functions and requirements. Determine the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs.

Train and mentor more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues elevated from staff. Provide guidance and consultation as required. Update, write, and maintain documentation for the department.

Administer system activities. Write the technical documentation of assigned work. Perform systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design.

Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes:

Strong expertise with AWS core concepts and AWS Web services such as ECS, Fargate, EC2, Step functions, CloudWatch, Docker

Strong Software developer skills in building, testing and releasing using Github/ Bamboo, CI/CD, OOP, TDD

Experience working in Relational and Non-Relation Database Technologies

Experience in JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Angular,

Experience in Python/ Java as well as application Integration via API’s/REST etc

Added advantage if you have knowledge in Cloud Compute, Networking and VPC Component services.

Strong core development, problem-solving skills and troubleshooting skill throughout the development life cycle.

Ability to self-train on emerging technologies and share what you learn with others.

Passion for Resiliency Engineering and technology with an eye on Improving Resiliency and enabling developers.

Excel at communicating sophisticated technological issues in ways that anyone can understand.

Minimum of five years related work experience.

Undergraduate degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of training and experience.
