Duties:



• Maintain and evolve our lake-house architecture, including refinement around scalability, optimizing ongoing data delivery around web/mobile customer experience, expectations, and ongoing growth of data sources

• Build required infrastructure for ETL of data from various disparate sources using AWS and SQL technologies

• Familiarity and experience with stitching together 360 views of customer identities across disparate data sources API design knowledge (REST-based)

• Work with stakeholders including product, internal/external engineering, and IT to understand upcoming data needs tied to the digital portfolio and helping determine the right architectural approaches for these

• Collaborate, create, and execute on predictive/prescriptive models as use cases continue to emerge across our web and mobile properties

• Partner with our Sr. Technical Architect to ensure the ongoing micro services - oriented technical stack/architecture integrates with our data lake-house broader vision.


• 5 plus years’ experience working within data lake/warehouse structures within cloud environments

• Experience across a vast set of lake-house use cases from batch through (near) real-time and publish-subscribe models and experience working within microservices architectural set ups.

• Expert in Swift or Objective-C, iOS development tools (Xcode, Instruments) - focused on how best to integrate, and SaaS & PaaS systems/integrations

• Fluent in Python Knowledge of common web services protocol (HTTPS/JSON/REST) and experience with cloud computing (e.g. AWS infrastructure)


• Technical experience with native iOS development and a strong grasp of computer science fundamentals Strong API design knowledge

• Strong understanding of Amazon Web Services – specifically with components of our lake-house architecture from ingestion (pub/sub via Lambda + Amazon Notifications, AWS Glue) through storage (Redshift, S3), cataloging, and processing (Redshift/Federated Query, Kinesis) to consumption (Quicksight, Sagemaker) (with certification where appropriate)
