DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Machining Team Member 2nd Shift to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Lakewood, NY, US.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Ensure Safety : By stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately, youll help maintain a safe working environment.

Promote Health : Reporting any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards ensures that health and safety standards are upheld.

Adhere to Standards : Complying with HSE standards, policies, procedures, and regulations will help maintain a high level of safety and environmental responsibility.

Quality Assurance : Performing quality inspections and identifying non-conforming materials will help minimize costs and improve product quality.

Efficient Production : Operating manual and automated equipment to meet production goals and maintaining the required cycle time will ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.

Team Collaboration : Communicating effectively with your team and support staff will foster a collaborative environment and help identify equipment needing repair.

Continuous Improvement : Engaging in training and personal development, and actively participating in initiatives to improve quality, safety, and processes, will drive continuous improvement in the workplace.
